Ok, just a couple more :0)

Just a couple more pictures with Lexi. I promise I'm done for now! :0)

Also, just a reminder that the MDA telethon is on this weekend. One of the diseases that benefits from MDA's work is Friedreich's Ataxia. My niece Allison has FA and has really loved her time at MDA camp. I know it isn't the most exciting TV to watch, and can be difficult to watch at times, but MDA does good work and it is for a good cause.

Day three of the photos with Lexi

Remember this little experiment with the new slopers?
Well this is what it looks like on! I was really excited about how nice this looked because quite frankly I had my doubts about how it would hang. In fact, Lori and Lexi liked this one enough to buy it themselves! I will be making more of these, that's for sure! I have been really pleased so far with how the garments I have made from my slopers have turned out.

More of the photo shoot with Lexi

This is another little outfit that I hope to list soon, too. Although, it is a little late in the summer for it.

Christmas in August....

I finally finished this set! We had a fun little photo shoot with my niece Alexa this evening. It was a bit of a stretch for her as she isn't really into "girly" things as much as other 7 year old girls. She did really well and I'll post more pictures later of some of the other things she modeled for me. She had fun, but I could tell she was getting tired of it by the time we were done. :)
So, without further ado, here is the Christmas outfit. Size 6-6x. I hope to list it either at Etsy or Ebay within the next few weeks.

And the winner is......

Shepherd family acal! Congrats! Please email me at ljlehn (at) charter (dot) net and I will let you know what measurements I need from you!

How about a giveaway?

Things in my life have been pretty frustrating and topsy turvey lately. I can't go into all of that, but I need to do something fun so I am going to do a giveaway. I will give away one little girl's outfit or dress handmade by me. The catch is that you won't know what you are getting until it arrives at your home. It will be a complete surprise. I will have you send me your child's size and measurements and I will create something just for you! SOOO if you have a special little princess in your life and you would like to win an outfit from me for her, just post a comment. I will choose a name randomly on Sunday at noon (central time). If you want to see some of my previous work, look back through my blog or click on my website in the right hand sidebar of my blog. Good luck! This is going to be fun!

I don't have time to think of a creative title today....

I just thought I'd give you a little peek at what has been keeping me so busy lately that I have not had time to blog. I will reveal the whole thing when it is all finished. :) And yes, those ARE Christmas fabrics. Just trying to get a jump on the season this year.

Weekend project....

These plus principles from this equal this:

It turned out just a little bit shorter than I thought it would. It is hard for me to judge how long to make the skirt sometimes. It also turned out a little plainer than I thought it would, too. Still it was fun and I think it is pretty cute. It will go on Etsy next spring. It is a little too late in the year to list something quite this lightweight and summery this year.

Well that was annoying!

Blogger decided to lock my blog because for some reason they though it was a spam blog! GRRR
